how to prioritise workouts so you see better results and avoid skipping them

If you struggle turning up & doing your workouts, whether it is consistency, motivation, to busy, OR lacking for time?

1. Prioritise it as the first thing you do each day
(or the days you train)

I am the WORST morning person. For years I told myself I can't train in the mornings and reeled off 12 excuses.

Now I drag myself up and get to the gym every day at 7.30am.

Do I wake up buzzing to go? No
Do I go to bed excited for that alarm to go off each day? No
do I sometimes snooze it? Yes
Do I sometimes have a shot workout because I am knackered? Of course...

But I ALWAYS feel better for it and have a better day because of it.

And it stops me talking myself out of it later in the day because I'm:
Tiered
had a busy day
stressed
have too much to do
gonna pop to the shop
been asked to see a friend
would rather watch suits


2. If the above doesn't work do it in the exact place that suits your routine

Aka if you drive past the gym on your way home, that’s the time to go

if you get home and struggle to get back up off the sofa that’s the time to go, and if you work out at home DONT GO IN THE HOUSE until you have done your workout in the garden or garage- be already dressed for it

if your lunch break is usually just you scrolling through socials- that’s a great time to go

if it’s when your baby is sleeping, perfect

If it’s when your partner gets in through the door- switch places and don't delay

it’s all about REMOVING FRICTION from doing the task you keep putting off.

ROUTINE
That's what is needed
